In search for happines


Most of us believe that our happines is conected to some event or situation, for example, we believe we will be happy when we get bigger salary, when we will find true love, when we’ll move to other place etc. This events definitely lead us to the feeling of happines, but we only feel it for some time, then it goes away and we are waiting for another event or situation that will give us the same feeling again.

What I’ve learned in my life is that happines and satisfaction are not something we get, but something we learn how to feel. Of course everyone wants to be happy in life, everyone also feel and percive happines in a different way.  But just a decision to be happy is sometimes just not enough. We have to find what makes us happy, we have to learn how to enjoy things and how to be satisfied with life we are living.

But as any other thing in life this is achived step by step, by training and learning about your life, your mind and things that make you happy.

As said before, the pure feeling of happines is felt by every person diferently. But we all can learn how to be happy with the things that are happening in our lives. It’s about how we percive life and are deal with  situations and people that surround us.

I  am  still learning how to feel happines and satisfaction and  look positively on everything that is happening around me. Someteimes there are days, weeks or even months when I just can’t get to that feeling of joy and being happy. The world is full of negativism that’s why it’s really hard and challenging to see good in everything and stay positive all the time. But you know what they say, where there is will, there is a way! That is why I am learning, step by step, how to be happy in life and enjoy everything that life is giving me.

How do I do that?

I practice different tehniques.


Here is one simple tip for feeling joy everyday.

Everyday before I go to bed, I try to remeber all the good things that happened to me that day. I try to write down at least 10 things that made me feel happy and smiling. Sometimes it’s just a good mealt that I had and sometimes it’s something bigger. It helps me to focus on positive things in my life and not think about all the difficulties that are coming my way.


Of course I get trapped in negative thoughts and bad feelings, but I am trying everyday to focus on all the positivities in my life and send negative thoughts and feelings somewehere to a land far, far away.

There are many other different tehniques I practice to feel good, joyful and happy. I’ll make a post about them someday in the future.

But for now, let me share a little thought: »Do what makes your soul happy, be with who makes you smile, laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live«.
